A single source of truth for care providers

We are building Cura plus around one trusted record for every person, carer and visit, so the information your team relies on lives in one place. This work is in build.

Illustrative data

Most care providers we speak to keep the same details in more than one place. A change of address, a new key safe code or an updated medication note can live in a rota system, a care plan, a spreadsheet and a carer's phone all at once. When one copy is updated and another is not, staff can end up working from different versions of the truth.

Cura plus is being designed to change that. Our single source of truth work, which is in build, aims to give each piece of information one home that the rest of the platform reads from.

What a single source of truth means

A single source of truth is one trusted record for each person you support, each carer and each visit. Rotas, care plans, the carer app and family updates are designed to read from that record rather than keep their own copies. When someone updates a detail, the aim is that everyone who needs it sees the same version.

Why it matters in care

Care depends on accurate, current information. Fewer copies should mean less time spent reconciling lists, fewer chances for a detail to be missed and quicker answers when a manager, a family member or an inspector asks a question. It also gives CuraAI a clearer picture to work from, so its suggestions for your team to review are based on the same information your staff see.

Working with the systems you already use

We know providers already rely on systems for rostering, care records, HR and finance. Cura plus integrates with your existing ecosystem and tech stack. During discovery we look at the systems you use and agree with you which one owns each piece of information, so data is brought across and checked with your team rather than duplicated.

People stay in charge

A single record does not change who makes decisions. Your managers and professionals stay responsible for the care you provide. Access is designed to be set by role, and activity history, also in build, is designed to help you see what changed.

Where this work is now

The single source of truth is in build. We will share more as it develops. If you would like to talk about how your information is held today and what a single record could look like for your service, please get in touch.
